When my family enjoys outdoor time together, we want to focus on who’s with us, or what’s going on in front of us. Firefly Coast furniture is durably designed to last so that you can focus on what’s in front of you, not what’s under you.

We start with pressure-treated wood to give it decay resistance and extra strength from the beginning. The stainless steel fasteners won’t rust in the rain or corrode in the wood. The marine-grade finish provides UV protection and further weather protection. In addition to the building materials, Firefly Coast products are solid and their weight keeps good balance.

Handcrafted

Our products aren’t from a factory. They’re from a woodshop. Lumber is delivered, saws whirr and buzz, and sawdust is everywhere. The fresh cut wood smells like mountain air. Every piece of lumber is worked by hand from the table saw to the router to the sander to the finish. Sometimes there’s a little character in the wood; router overlaps, saw marks on a curve, they’re evidence that a person, not a machine, oversaw the process of these trees becoming furniture for you. The color-varying wood grain, the brown knots, and even the ruts in the wood where bark or branches left holes, all remind us that in nature things aren’t perfect. We even put the blemishes on the surfaces for our personal pieces at home. When you’re enjoying life with one of our products we hope you feel a little grounded to life and more connected to nature.
